MRS. VIRGINIA HUFFMAN~MCQUEEN

MRS. VIRGINIA HUFFMAN~MCQUEEN, {72} She was born to the late Mr. John and Mrs. Gracie Godbolt~Huffman on December 16, 1942 in Bayboro, South Carolina in Horry County. She entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 22, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital in Wayne, New Jersey following an illness. “Virginia” was united in holy matrimony to Solomon McQueen on July 16, 1959 and to this union four {4} children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, two {2} sons, Benson and John K. McQueen; also six {6} sisters and four {4} brothers. “Virginia” attended Whittemore High School in Conway, SC. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and attended St. Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Aynor, SC. She later moved to Paterson, NJ and was a deaconess at Grace Chapel Baptist Church. Virginia was employed as an assembly worker at General Hose and later did Home Health Aide. She also was a certified home care provider in which she owned her business “Virginia McQueen Daycare” for over eighteen {18} years.
“Virginia” was loved by all who knew her. She always gave encouraging and spiritual advice to all in need. Virginia leaves to cherish her loving and fond memories ~ ehr loving and devoted husband of fifty~five {55} years, Deacon Solomon McQueen of the residence; two {2} loving daughters, Vivian Gales (Edward) of Dallas, NC and Violetta McQueen of Paterson, NJ; eight {8} grandchildren, Denisha McQueen, Latonya Brown, Crystal Gales, David Royster, Elise Gales, Johnathan McQueen, Edward Gales, Jr. and Kenisha McQueen; twenty-two {22} great~grandchildren; five {5} Godchildren; four {4} sisters, Sadie Johnson of Aynor, SC; Marie Bellamy of Baltimore, MD; Maebell Bird (Lafayette) of Willingboro, NJ and Annie Livingston of Washington, DC; one {1} brother, Joe T. Huffman of Aynor, SC; four {4} sisters-in-law; three {3} brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 06, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Aynor, SC. Visitation will be held one {1} hour prior to Funeral Service. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC.
