MR. JOHN HENRY LEWIS, JR.,  formerly of Conway, SC passed Sunday, October 23, 2016. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC.


MISS. BRENDA ROSE, {66} On Sunday afternoon, October 16, 2016 as God stopped by the Lower Cape Fear Hospice House in Wilmington, NC, He picked a rose to take back with Him. A rose that was full bloomed, MISS. BRENDA E. ROSE. She was born to the late Mary and Namon Rose in Washington, DC on August 19, 1950. “BRENDA” was educated in the Prince George’s County public schools in Maryland and graduated from Fairmont Heights High School in 1968. She took some college courses at Catholic University in Washington, DC. She was employed and retired by Homeland Security in Washington, DC. “BRENDA” accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour in 1979 and was baptized at First Baptist Church of Highland Park. In 1984, she joined Cornerstone Peaceful Bible Baptist Church where she served in office as a Choir Member, Deaconess and Sunday School Teacher until she became ill. She moved in with her sister {Ruby} and brother~in~law {Rodney} to South Carolina in 2009. During her stay in South Carolina, she attended St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach, only a few times. Her illness kept her from attending regularly. “BRENDA” was released of her pain and departed on October 16, 2016 at 5:40 PM. She is preceded in death by her sister, Donna Rose~Kemp.  She leaves to cherish her memory three {3} surviving sisters, Linda King {Brenda twin, Robbin Rose~Gross and Ruby Rose~Proctor; three {3} brothers~in~law, Allan King, Larry Gross and Rodney Proctor; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Ocean View Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC.


MR. ATU “STANK” JARMAL WILLIAMS II, {18} was born on March 10, 1998 to Atu Jarmal Williams Sr., and Tammy Gore~Williams in Myrtle Beach, SC. Stank was baptized and became a member of St. Mary MB Church under the leadership and guidance of Rev. Woodrow Jones. “STANK” attended and graduated from Myrtle Beach High School Class of 2016. He was a student at Horry~Georgetown Technical College  with a major in Business, he was devoted to his passion. He was employed with Ruth Crisp Steakhouse and he loved working there. He was a respectable young man. He loved and knew everyone. His favorite thing was shopping. He would always “con” a dollar out of someone, and if that didn’t work; he’d always find another way. He was smart, funny and very intelligent. He always knew EVERYTHING. He was never wrong; always right. “STANK” adored his family, nieces, nephews and all his thousands of friends. He was the apple of our eye! The rose of our garden! The baby of our family. He will always and forever live in our hearts! He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, October 13, 2016. His paternal great~grandparents, Matthew and Beatrice Rhue; his maternal grandfather, Ernest J. Gore; his first aunt, Gwendlyn Gore and  uncle, Antonio “Scooter” Gore all proceeded him in death. “STANK” leaves to cherish loving memories his loving and caring parents, Atu and Tammy Williams of Myrtle Beach, SC; his three {3} sisters, Sherika, Novien and Bianca Gore all of Myrtle Beach, SC; two {2} brothers, Chadwick Gore and Raheem “Wooda” Williams both of Myrtle Beach, SC; his paternal grandparents, Robert Williams Sr. of St. Paul, MN and Joyce Rhue Williams of Petersburgh, VA; his maternal grandmother, Betty Jean Gore of Myrtle Beach, SC; his surrogate grandmother,  Gwendlyn “Sally” Mishoe of Conway, SC; his Godparents,  Detra Dewitt and Mr. Ralph Vaught both of Conway, SC;  three {3} nephews, Xavier Jr., Amare and Zymere all of Myrtle Beach, SC; four {4} nieces, Haidyn, Mia, Kyla and Karmen all of Myrtle Beach. SC; thirteen {13} aunts, Thedia (Tony) Smith of Fayetteville, NC, Tonya Gore of Myrtle Beach, SC,  Teresa (Benny) Bennett of Orlando, FL, Beatrice Hickman of Philadelphia, PA, Mable Martin of Nichols, SC, Nina Gore of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kathy Robinson of Richmond, VA, Lisa Rhue~Warren of Boalsburg, PA, Maxeine Gary of Dallas, GA, Maxine Longs of Bowie, MD, Donna Cochran of Conway, SC, Carmen Williams of Colorado Springs, CO and Keisha (Don) Doolittle of Atlanta, GA; ten {10} uncles,  Raheem Williams of Myrtle Beach, SC, David (Mary) Gore of Chicago, IL, Deacon Ronald (Florence) Rhue of Petersburgh, VA,  Richie (Carolyn) Rhue, Bernard (Amanda) Rhue, Terry (Regina) McCray, Macarthur McCray, Aaron Lesane all of Conway, SC, Perry Williams and Robert Williams Jr. both of St. Paul, MN; three {3} great~aunts, Gladys Myers of Georgetown, SC, Rosa Bell Manigo and Patrel Brady both of Conway, SC. Stank had numerous amounts of special friends but he had some very special friends. His best friend, his “little sister” MyAngel Vaughn whom he was her “Tuttie” her “Stitch” and she was his “Lilo” and they were always there for each other. She loved him and she took care of him. They were loyal to each other. His “Pole Boys”, Flex, Fetti, Lil, Lamar, Teddy and Lodge who also loved him, they were his “brothers”. His special cousins, India, Tony Jr., James Jr.; and Wooda. His “big brothers and sisters,” Kolmonick Sinclair, Mario Jones, Taj Lesane and Iman Robinson. An extremely special mentor, Min. Timothy McCray from the young age of twelve {12}, he stood by Stank on all occasions and host of other caring relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Ocean View Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at 408 Blackberry Lane in the Carolina Forest Community. In lieu of flowers please submit Memorials to St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund 307 Ronald McNair Blvd Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
