MRS. EDELL C. COOPER

MRS. EDELL C. COOPER, {63} was born on July 09, 1952 daughter of the late Mr. Albert and Mrs. Bessie Mae Pugh~Campbell. She was the wife of the late Mr. Samuel F. Cooper and daughter~in~law of Mrs. Evelyn Cooper and the late Mr. Phillip S. Cooper. She was preceded in death by four {4} sisters, Jeroldine Barr, Flora Mae Jackson, Katie Mae Campbell and Teresa Dancer and three {3} brothers, Albert Campbell Jr., Harold Campbell and, James Campbell. She attended the Public Schools of Horry County. She departed this earthly life on July 28, 2015 after an illness. She leaves to cherish her memories one {1} son, John O. Campbell; two {2} daughters, Cassandra L. Campbell and Victoria Chestnut both of Myrtle Beach, SC; two {2} granddaughters, Elizabeth Eaddy, Ta’laya Campbell; four {4} grandsons, Trayon Campbell, Kenny, Malik and Ahmad; one {1} great~grandson, Brain Bethea Jr; her five {5} sisters, Annie Mae Campbell of Brooklyn, NY, Louise {Jimmy} Grissett, Lucille {Luke} Hemingway, Celia Campbell and Patricia Walker all of Myrtle Beach, SC; seven {7} brothers, Charles Campbell of Columbia, SC, Robert Campbell (Tonya) Campbell, Le’Roy, Jessie, William, Paul and Michael Campbell all of Myrtle Beach, SC; four {4} sister~in~law, Linda Campbell, Wanda Campbell, Tommie Campbell, Thelma {Clifford} Keith, Lula Bell (Jerome) Gamble, Teresa (Tyrone) Lisbon, Magaline Brown all of Myrtle Beach, SC; six {6} brothers~in~law, Ernest Cooper, Paul (Vanessa) Cooper, Pkil Cooper, Henry Mitchell, George Cooper and Phillip Barr, all of Myrtle Beach, SC; two {2} very, very special best friends, Ms. Emma Grant and Brenda Sinclair; children that she did not have but claimed as her own, Brain Bethea, Kenneth Gunter, Johas-Joe Carraway, Trina Miller and Khadija Kershaw; and a host of neices, nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was loved by many and will be missed by ALL! Visitation will be held 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Ocean View Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 01, 2015 at Shields Chapel Fire Baptized Holiness Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Service, LLC.

MRS. PALMA JANE ROGERS, {51} of Loris, SC passed Friday, July 10, 2015. No Services are scheduled and Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Service, LLC.

MR. JOSEPH C. ALLEN

MR. JOSEPH C. ALLEN, {34} was born on December 29, 1980 in Manhattan, NY to Leonard Allen and Helen Robinson~Cox. He departed this life on Monday, July 06, 2015. Joseph was the only child to this union. He attended Public School 126 Elementary School and Junior High School 145 and graduated from Walton High School in June of 1999 in Bronx, NY. Joseph went to work at age fourteen {14} for the Summer Youth Program at St. Patrick’s Nursing Home in Bronx, NY where he later became employed and remained from 1994 until his health began to fail. Joseph first worked in the Physical Therapy Department until he began as a Dietary Aide. He was loved on his job. He was a happy child, always smiling and respectful. Joseph loved to play basketball, football and liked golfing. He also loved children. Joseph leaves to mourn his mother, Helen Cox {Sam} of Loris, SC; his father, Leonard Allen of Bronx, NY {Luvenia Allen “Mama Lu”} of Lauderhill, FL; two {2} sisters, Debra Allen of Lauderhill, FL and Mary Griffin of Far Rockaway, NY; five {5} brothers, Leonard Allen Jr. of Brooklyn, NY, Derrick Allen {deceased}, Eric Riggins {Lacrecia}, Rowell and Marion; his grandmother, Juanita Porter of Loris, SC; eight aunts, Pearl Means of Columbia, SC, Rosa {James} Funny of Myrtle Beach, SC, Armetha Martin of Myrtle Beach, SC, Berdna James of North Little Rock, AK, Katie Williams of San Diego, CA, Rodessa Gee {Tom} of St. Louis, MO, Jean Summons {Albert} of Little Rock, AK; nine {9} uncles, Jackie Robinson {Joyce} of Little River, SC, Wendell Robinson of Conway, SC, Albert Robinson of West Palm Beach, FL, Gregory Edge of Loris, SC, Adolphus Allen {Jean} of Little Rock, AK, Thurman Allen of Dayton, OH and Cledis Allen of Little Rock, AK; childhood brother and best friend, Jose Acevedo of Bronx, NY and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one {1} hour prior to Funeral Service at Ocean View Memorial Chapel.
