  1. MR. DAVID J. WILLIAMS, JR. {72} affectionately known as “JUNY” was born on June 24, 1944 in Conway, SC to the late Deacon David Williams, Sr. and Mary Williams. He graduated from Whittemore High School. David confessed Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and became a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church for many years. He sang in the Male Choir when the church was on Ninth {9th} Avenue and continued attending the new church erected on Grainger Road until his health declined. His favorite song and testament of faith was “This Little Light of Mine.” His legacy of love, commitment, faith, sportsmanship and infectious smile will never be forgotten. Thank God David’s soul is resting in peace and he made it to his eternal heavenly home. Thank God for loaning David to be a part of your amazing good memories that can live forever within our hearts. David was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday. June 21, 2017. He leaves to cherish his legacy and fond memories one {1} adopted brother, Billy Weaver; a very special cousin raised by his parents, the late Jessie Bell Meyers; a devoted, loyal and faithful foster Mom, Mrs. Florence Singleton and a host of  loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and associates. Visitation will be held 6:00 ~.  8:00 PM Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Ocean View Funeral Home Rhues Chapel located at 1207 Grainger Road Conway, SC 29527 Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, June 26, 2017 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.  Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Homes Rhue’s Chapel of Conway, SC
