MS. SANDRA JANE MCRAY, {63} was born February 13, 1952 in the Bucksport, SC to the late William Sarvis and Mary Lee Wright~Sarvis. Sandra was educated in the Horry County Public Schools, including Whittemore High School, and graduated from the consolidated Conway High School. On December 12, 1975, Sandra was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Truman Lee McCray and to this union two {2} children was born, Lashawnte and the late CaSondra. Sandra began working at Conway Nursing Home where she worked for over twenty~eight {28} years. She became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) during her duration there. Sandra was well respected by her peers and patients. She would always go the extra mile to care for her patients. Sandra accepted Jesus Christ and eventually joined St. James Church of God in the Bucksville, SC where she remained a member. Sandra enjoyed praising God and reading His word daily. She was truly a God~fearing Woman who loved the Lord. Sandra entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 26, 2015 after an extended illness. Her body was too weak to continue in this world, so she began her journey home to gain a heavenly body.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memory one {1} daughter, Lashawnte Jackson of Sumter, SC (Jay Jackson); one {1} son, Tobbie McCray of Conway, SC; three {3} brothers, William Sarvis, Jr. of Chesterfield, SC, James Sarvis (Margie Sarvis) of Queens, NY, Kareem Muhammad (Mabel Muhammad) of Chadbourn, NC; two {2} grandchildren, Eric and Ashaunti Sarvis of Conway, SC; one {1} great~granddaughter, Harmonia Sarvis of Conway, SC and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and beloved friends. Visitation will be held 5:00 ~ 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Ocean View Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 01, 2015 at St. James Holiness Church in Bucksville, SC. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Service, LLC.


MRS. RUTH BURROUGHS {60} was born August 05, 1954 in Horry County and ended June 17, 2015 in Beaufort SC. She was was raised by her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Burroughs who preceded her in death, along with her father and son, Jeffery Burroughs. She was educated in the public schools of Horry County. At an early age she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined Salem AME Church. She was employed by Four Seasons Printing and Sea Mist Resort until her health begin to fail. Ruth was a fun a loving person who could bring laughter and cheer to any situation and was always willing to do whatever she could to help. There was never a dull moment around her and she would tell you whats on her mind. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving mother, Mrs. Maggie Williams and stepfather, Mr. Charlie Harrison of Beaufort, SC; her loving and devoted children, Latricia (James) Bellamy, Quashanda, Carmeeka and, Controy all of Bucksport, SC Allen ( Ebony) Burroughs of Myrtle Beach SC and Davein Burroughs of Conway, SC; thirteen {13} grandchildren; three {3} great~grandchildren; five {5} brothers and six {6} sisters, Carolyn (Benjamin) Johnson, Sandy Williams, Natalie (Jarmal) Garriett, Ned Lavern (Patricia) Williams all of Beaufort, SC; Penny Robinson of Columbus, GA, Iris Hunter Hubert Jr, and Jason Hunter all of Bucksport, SC, Donald Hunter of Shelby NC, Ronald Hunter of Orlando, FL, Denise (Madison) Powell of Conway, SC; three {3} aunts, Alice Brown of Postmouth, VA, Frankie Burroughs, Peggy (Melvin) Sprull all of Bucksport, SC and Lorraine Burroughs of Philadelphia, PA; one {1} uncle, Earl Butler of Burgess, SC; four {4} special friends, Betty B. Grier, Hazel Bellamy, Linda Sherman and Katina Graham and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins other family and friends. Visitation will be held 5:00 PM ~ 7:00 PM Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Ocean View Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 22, 2015 at Salem AME Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Service, LLC.


MR. RONALD MURRAY of Johnsonville, SC passed Friday, June 12, 2015. Memorial Service will be held in Detroit, MI at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Service, LLC.
