MRS. FANNIE MAE CARR

MRS. FANNIE MAE CARR {68} was born the daughter of the late Book Dennision and  Fannie Vereene~Dennison in Myrtle Beach, SC on December 24, 1949. Her departure became evident on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. She attended Horry County public schools and graduated from Whittemore High School in 1968. She retired from AVX Corporation after eighteen {18} years of service and Walmart after fifteen {15} years of service. “Fannie Mae” leaves to cherish her memory two {2} daughters, Ericka C. Carr of Myrtle Beach, SC and LeNora B. Carr of Stockbridge, GA; two {2} grandsons, Antonio T. Carr of Myrtle Beach, SC and Tremain R. Carr of Stockbridge, GA; four sisters, Ellen Marie Feaster, Havannah Brown, Pecolia Johnson all of Myrtle Beach, SC and Donna Gail of NC; one {1} brother, Booker T. Dennison {Essie} of Myrtle Beach, SC; one aunt, Wilhemenia Maybank of Myrtle Beach, SC; her special friend, Thomas Holoman; special friend/daughter, Jackie Spivey and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM at Ocean View Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February  25, 2017 at Mt. Olive AME Church. Arrangementsre are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC. 

MR. LOUIS RAY GORE

MR. LOUIS RAY GORE, {74} was born in Myrtle Beach, SC on November 05, 1942 to the late Henry Gurdy Gore and Alberta G. Bellamy. He was the seventh {7th} child of ten {10} children. His two {2} sisters, Betty and Carrie; five {5} brothers, Frank, Leroy, Henry, Ivory and Covell all preceded him in death. He was educated in the Horry County school system. After graduation he relocated to Brooklyn, NY and began his career as a NY Transit Bus Driver and retired after twenty~five {25} years of service. Afterwards, he relocated back to Myrtle Beach, SC in 1993. He worked a host of jobs as Bus Driver,  Cab Driver and Cart Attendant at Dunes Golf Club. In 1967, “LOUIS” was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Clarice Chestnut and to this union three {3} sons were born. He was a devoted husband, loving father and was always a caring man that loved and had consideration for other family members and friends. He was a member of Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach, SC, where he and his wife were baptized. His hobbies included cooking, fishing and farming. He had two {2} gardens he attended through the years.  He was known to have caught some of the biggest fish on 2nd Avenue and  SC State Park Piers. Departing this life on Sunday, February 19, 2017, he leaves to mourn three {3} sons, Louis A. {Lisa} Gore, Terrance Chestnut and Trevor {Tunisian} Gore; two {2} granddaughters, Tia and Tonessa whom he raised and loved dearly; three {3} grandsons, Desmond, Terrell and Kenneth; three {3} great~granddaughters, Jayda, Jordyn and Mya whom he adored; one {1} great~grandson, Desmond; two {2} sisters, Mazie {Jerome} Anderson and Estella Scott; a host of inlaws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special mention of Roy {Patricia} Chestnut, Harold {Evelyn} Chestnut along with his best friend, Titus Rich and closest friend, Rodell {William} Galloway whom he loved dearly and they held special places in his heart. Visitation will be held 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Ocean View Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will held 2:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2017 at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC.
