MR. SAEQUAN LAMAR VEREEN

MR. SAEQUAN LAMAR VEREEN, (23) of Myrtle Beach, SC was born to Crystal A. Vereen and Bernard Shaw in Myrtle Beach, SC on August 14, 1991 at 2:46 AM, weighing only 4lbs and 4oz. He departed this life on Sunday, February 15, 2015. He was also known as “Saeqy” by his grandmother and “Bo” by friends. Saequan attended and graduated from Myrtle Beach High School and furthered his education at Benedict College. He was employed at The Sheraton Convention Center doing Bar Backing. He loved to play basketball and baseball with family and friends. He was well mannered and had a million dollar smile. Saequan loved to dance and give hugs. He leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother, Crystal Antoinette Vereen; and his father, Henry Bernard Shaw, Jr. both of Myrtle Beach, SC; two {2} sisters, Soraeya Vereen and Shavae Shaw both of Myrtle Beach, SC; one {1} brother, Eric Burgess of Sumpter, SC; three {3} grandmothers, Maxcine Lucille Simmons of Myrtle Beach, SC, Margrette Shaw of Kingstree, SC and Lucille Simmons of Myrtle Beach, SC; eight {8} very special and dedicated aunts, Angela Michelle {Ted} Dukes of Dallas, GA, Rahreta Vereen, Vanessa Page, Shaunte Simmons, Debbie Shaw all of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mary Ann Shaw of GA, Henritta Torrence of Fayeteville, NC, Monica Shaw of Columbia, SC and Tracey Alston of Hope Mills, NC; six {6} uncles, Lamar {Latika} Vereen, Warren {Sherry} Page, William {Melvaletta} Simmons all of Myrtle Beach, SC, Korey Shaw of Savannah, GA, Barry Morgan of Florence, SC, Charles Gibson of California; one {1} great~aunt, Martha Florence Vereen~Collins; two {2} great~uncles, George Vereen and Isiah {Roslyn} Simmons both of Myrtle Beach, SC; two {2} very special nieces, Amani Riggins and Tamia Spivey; one {1} nephew, Travis Spivey, Jr of Myrtle Beach, SC; a special friend, Isake Turner and a host of cousins, friends and other relatives. Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Ocean View Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 20, 2015 at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC.
