Gale Alexis Meyers

Gale Alexis Meyers of Myrtle Beach passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024. 

Gale Alexis Meyers was born on August 3, 1965, in Long Island, New York to Howard Meyers and the late Maudestine F. Meyers of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was the granddaughter of the late Gabriel and Julia Frazier and the late Alexander and Helen Meyers.

She was educated in the Freeport Public Schools of Nassau County, graduating from Freeport High School in 1983. She continued her education at a business school in Long Island, New York. Gale, affectionately known as Auntie Gale" and "Mimi", was passionate about her God, her family, and those she cared about. Although faced with many health challenges throughout her life, Gale never gave up. She knew "who" she was and "whose" she was. She held many jobs, but her greatest love was taking care of children. She demonstrated that love over many years, taking care of so many beautiful children. She was a faithful member of the New Beginning Worship Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

On Monday Afternoon, March II, 2024, Gale was called home from labor to reward. She is survived by her father, Mr. Howard (Marie) Meyers; her siblings, Lisa (Charles) Lewis, Marie (Will) Brown all of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Christopher (Serap) Meyers of Debary, Florida; eight nieces and nephews, Najee and Taciana Brown, Brandon and Christian Lewis, Saadiq, Taliyah, Suheyla, and Tariq Meyers; a special friend, Joshua Pouya; her bestie, Teresa Robinson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

fellowship and repass at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  There will be a viewing from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the church.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.  Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel is assisting the Meyers Family.
