MS. DIANNA JENKINS~YOUNG

  • MS. DIANNA JENKINS~YOUNG, {59} was born April 11, 1958 in Eutawvile, SC to the late Charles Pryor and Alice Jenkins~Lance. She was the daughter of the late Junior Gaillard and the late Martha Gaillard. She was transitioned home on to take her eternal rest on Monday, October 09, 2017 from  Grand Strand Medical Center.

  • Dianna graduated from Holly Hill High School in 1976. She also attended Holly Hill Academy.

  • Dianna was a dedicated servant of Mason Temple Church of God in Christ for over thirty {30} years, where she served on the Usher Board, Birthday Chairperson, Choir, Media Department, Sunday School Teacher, Custodian or whatever her hands found to do, she did it. She was a selfless person. If you needed to be encouraged…she was there, always standing in the gap praying for others. She was a Woman of Great Faith and Committment. She had her own CD Ministry. You would get a book or a CD just when you needed and she always remembered your birthday or anniversary. This diamond will truly be missed!!!

  • Dianna was employed by General Telephone Company in Myrtle Beach, SC from 1977~2006. She was a Dispatcher, Customer Service and Assignment Clerk. She also was the former owner of Lady Dy Cleaning Service.

  • Dianna leaves to cherish her precious memories a loving husband for forty~one {41} years, Joseph Young; two {2} sons, Salathian Merelle {Aprelle} Young and Shaylen Jawon Young both of Conway, SC; Mother Alice Jenkins~Lance {George}; one {1} grandson, Kamren Cale of Chicago, IL; her siblings, Gwendolyn Walls {Freddie Sr} of New York, NY; James Tyron Harvey {Deceased}; Garrett Jenkins of San Francisco, CA; Geraldine Jenkins~Barr of Bronx, NY; Taleema Lance~Parsons {Jerome} of Brooklyn, NY; Danquan Clark Lance {Sheneka} of Brooklyn, NY; Sean Lance Far of Rockaway, NY; Jennifer  Lance of Pittsburgh, PA; Barbara Harvey, Michelle Lance~Goodwin {Hakim}, Kim Prear, LaShawn Prear, Victoria Bryant of Brooklyn, NY; Pam Carter of Greensboro, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and special friends: Sandra Blakey, Brenda Murphy, Ree Jones, Mary Pryor, Marlena Goings, Regenia McCray, Morning Prayer Warriors.

  • Visitation will be held 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Ocean View Funeral Home Beach Chapel. Funeral Services willl be held 1:00 PM Friday, October 13, 2017 at Mason Temple Church of God in Christ. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel.

  • Although I did not have the privilege of knowing Dianna, I have personally experienced the pain of losing someone I’ve loved dearly. I extend my heartfelt condolences to each of you. Please be assured of God’s enduring love for you, his concern with your well-being, and his willingness to help you endure this difficult time (1 Peter 5:7).  I pray that God’s promise at Revelation 21:4 will provide you comfort in the days to come. 

  • Dianna was a beautiful person with a sweet spirit. Let all of your wonderful memories of her forever be in your heart. She will truly be missed. May she Rest in Heavenly Peace.

  • Praying for you and your family during this time of lost that God will comfort and keep you in His peace.

  • Condolences to the family and sorry for your loss. My heart is heavy on the passing of my cousin Dianna she was a sweet person and a had a beautiful smile and disposition.
