MR. LEROY “CHANCEY” LIVINGSTON, JR. {76} was born on November 29, 1942 in the Nixonville Community, SC and departed this life on Monday, December 11, 2018 in Hamden, CT. He was the son of the late Mr. Leroy Livingston, Sr. and Oree Livingston. 

Chancey attended and received his education in the public schools of Horry County. He was employed with Blakeslee Press in Branford, CT as a supervisor for forty {40} years.

Leroy Jr. enjoyed gardening, landscaping, fishing and being with family. Chancey and his son Aswan were known a “troublemakers” when they hung out together because they were like “two peas in a pod.” He was a New York Giants football fan and loved himself some wrestling.

Mr. Leroy was married to Alice M. Livingston and to this union one {1} son was born and he gained three {3} stepsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, four {4} brothers {Marvin, Liston, Sanford and Liston} and one {1} sister {Mary}.

Chancey leaves to cherish sweet memories his wife, Alice of Hamden, CT; two {2} sons, Randy Livingston of Wayne, NJ and Aswan Livingston of New Haven, CT; four {4} daughters, Brenda {Ricky} Glover of Swansea, SC, Sharon Ingram of Pemberton, NJ, Vicky Livingston of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Arlinda Livingston of Longs, SC; three {3} stepsons, Otis III and Tyreese Bowens of Hamden, CT and Ted {Rea} Livingston of Longs, SC; one {1} brother, Marshall {Cynthia} Livingston of Conway, SC; six {6} sisters, Velma {Frank} Livingston of Trenton, NJ, Thelma Hemingway, Willa M. Beese of Longs, SC, Wilhelmina Livingston, Barbara Livingston and Carol {Tim} Vereen of Conway, SC; thirteen {13} grandchildren; five {5} great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church. Viewing will be held one {1} hour prior to Services. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home Conway Chapel.
