MRS. ETHEL LEE PUGH

MRS. ETHEL LEE PUGH, {58} was born September 01, 1957 in Conway, SC. She departed this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Mother Marie Rush~Pugh and the late Mr. Preston Pugh. She was a graduate of. Conway High School Class of 1977. After graduating, she went to work at AVX Cooperation as a machine operator for twenty~two {22} years. She was converted at a early age, was baptized and became a member of St Paul Missionary Baptist Church. She later became a faithful member of Christian Tabernacle Community Church where she received her spiritual teachings and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Recently she returned back to St Paul Missionary Baptist Church and continued her works for the Kingdom. She served on the Pastors Aide Committee, Kitchen Ministry and Choir until her health failed. “ETHEL” was a powerful prayer warrior and strong woman of faith who encouraged everyone she encountered. Her seven {7} siblings, Ethel Mae, Arthur, Calvin, Major, Bessie Mae, Joyce and Earl preceded her in death. “ETHEL” was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. Her heart was open to everyone and we all was precious and dear to her. Now her legacy lives on in all who were privileged to know her, love her and be loved by her. She leaves to cherish her memory two {2} daughters, Pshanda Pugh and Gabrielle Pugh of Conway, SC; four {4} grandchildren, Jeremiah Pugh, Zoie Frierson,, Zion Frierson~Morris and Kentrell Pugh as her son all of Conway, SC; two {2} sisters, Ollie Bell James of Connecticut and. Margaret Pugh of Conway, SC; two {2} brothers, Raymond Pugh and Thurman Pugh both of Conway, SC; her husband, Robert Cox and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and many she considered brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Ocean View Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 28, 2016 at St Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC.
