MR BROWN Obituary

MR. STAFFORD BROWN, {73} of Myrtle Beach, SC was born to the late Leroy Brown and Annie Mae Brown in Murrells Inlet, SC on October 18, 1942. Stafford made his final transition on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC. Stafford came to Myrtle Beach, SC in his early adult life and was joined in holy matrimony to the late Bernice Jackson~Brown. Stafford worked for Burroughs and Chapin for numerous years and received an Initiative for Work Force Excellence Award presented by Governor Carroll A. Campbell Jr during his tenure. He was a hard~working quiet man who you would see on the road of Highway 17 landscaping the grass and at Myrtle Wood Golf Course until he retired in 2001 due to an illness. He was a man who took care of his family and loved his grandchildren with all his heart. Stafford attended Household of Faith Holiness Church and he loved the Lord. Stafford was quiet, humble, reliable and a Man of his word, and he will be missed. Stafford loved going to Sonic every day for coffee. He leaves to cherish his memories five {5} wonderful children, Jerod L. Jackson of Newark, NJ, Stafford {Tracey} Brown Jr of Camden, NJ, Mildred A Brown of East Orange, NJ, Mable Michelle Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC and Renee Sharonda Brown of Fountain Inn, SC; his siblings, Roy Nelson {Rebecca} Brown of Murrells Inlet, SC, Rev. Eugenia O. Greene of Atlanta, GA who preceded him in death, Wendell Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC who preceded him in death, Erma ( Ralph) Porter of Plainfield, NJ, Thomas "TJ" ( Beatrice) Brown who preceded him in death of Myrtle Beach, SC, Dr. Margie Brown~Spivey of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Elder Victoria Smalls, of North Myrtle Beach, SC. He also leaves behind the joy of his heart, his grandchildren, Yasmeen RaQuinn, Yamari Micole, Zamari "ZZ" YaQuinn and Zamarcus Yusuf all of the home and Chelsea Lynn of Pittsburgh, PA, and a Great~Grandchild Ny'Arah Aleyah of the home. Stafford has two brothers~in~law, Champion {Helen} Jackson and Robert {Carolyn} Jackson of Myrtle Beach, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other sorrowing relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM Monday, January 25, 2016 at Ocean View Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Ocean View Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC.
