MR. NELSON GREEN, {76} of was born on December 11, 1940 in Aynor, SC to the late Raymond and Leona Weaver Green. He fell asleep in death on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the age of 76. Nelson was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Mae Green; his two {2} sons, Melvin D. Green and Nelson D. Green; one {1} grandson, Marquelle Green; two {2} brothers, Dennis Earl Green and Joseph Green; a sister, Ellareen Green Lockhart and two {2} brothers-in-law, James Gore and Henry Chestnut. Nelson leaves behind to cherish his memories two {2} sons, Nelson Leon {Wanda} Bethea of Conway, SC and Edwin Green of Myrtle Beach, SC; one {1} daughter, Lavola Green of Myrtle Beach, SC; six {6} granddaughters, Tavia {Dewayne} Johnson of Simsonville, SC, Deja Young, Shaquita Green, On'Dria Bethea, Diamond Simmons and Rhiauna Dennison; three {3} grandsons, Nicolas L. Bethea, Nelson D. Green, Jr. and Russell Dennison; seven {7} great-grandchildren, Amariyah, Amaiyah, Amani, Zadyn, Zyah, Zanyah and Antonio. He also leaves behind two {2} brothers, Uffetee Green of New York City and Lonzy {Roxanna} Green of Georgia; four {4} sisters, Sarah {Harvey} Wilson, Louise {Walter} Stevenson of New York City, Malene Gore of Aynor, SC and Audrey Chestnut of Myrtle Beach, SC; one {1} daughter-in-law, Patricia Green of Myrtle Beach, SC; {1} sister-in-law, Louise Green of Little River, SC; a host of other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM Friday, October 06, 2017 at Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Conway High School. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel.
