MR. LEROY “LEAKEY” THOMAS CHISOLM, JR., {74} “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 Mr. Leroy “LEAKY ” Thomas Chisolm, Jr. went to his eternal rest on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. He was born September 16, 1942 to the late Leroy Thomas Chisolm, Sr. and Margaret Rivers-Chisolm in Charleston, SC. He attended Charleston County Schools and graduated from Burke High School. He moved to Myrtle Beach, SC at an early age and made it his home where he gained a plethora of friends, his family and his children. “LEAKEY” worked a few jobs until he found his love as Master Caddy at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club, where he retired after thirty plus (30+) years of service. He was a member of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee and on the Pastors Aide Committee. He was a devoted Past Patron of OES Oceanside Chapter #163, Past Worshipful Master of Oceanview Lodge #325, Past CIC of John Floyd Consistory #189 and Past Illustrious Potentate of Kabba Temple #89. “LEAKEY” leaves to cherish his memories  his devoted wife of thirty-eight (38) years Pauline Chisolm; two (2) daughters, Beatrice Chisolm of Tampa, FL and Keanne Chisolm of Conway, SC; three sons, Peter (India) Kelly V of Tacoma, WA, Geoffrey Anderson of Myrtle Beach, SC and Barron Chisolm of Queens, NY; four  (4) sisters, Margaret  (Alfred) Grant of Charleston, SC, Willie Mae Benson of Greensboro, NC, Barbara  (Edward) Heyward of Savannah, GA and Gertrude Jones of Charleston, SC; one (1) brother, Anthony Chisolm of Clinton, MD; one (1) sister-in-law, Maxcine (Aquino) Alford; two (2) brothers-in-law, Jimmy (Mary) Crittendon of Murrells Inlet, SC and Charles (Christine) Crittendon of Summerville, SC; two (2) adopted children, Nolon Scott of Summerville, SC and Romello Scott of Myrtle Beach, SC; fourteen  (14) grandchildren; five (5) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. To know him was to love him and he will truly be missed by all! Visitation will be held 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM Saturday, July 01, 2017 at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 3:30 PM Sunday, July 02, 2017 at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home Williams Chapel of Myrtle Beach.
