MR. CURT CHEESEBORO

MR. CURTIS “CURT” CHEESEBORO, {55} departed this life on Saturday, August 05, 2017 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. After a short illness, God called his son home. “MR. CURTIS CHEESEBORO” affectionately known as “CURT” by family and close friends. He was the first born of the late Gilbert Davis Vereen, Jr. and the late Rosa Lee Jamison on February 07, 1962 in Aynor, SC. His was reared in the Aynor community. “CURT” was united in holy wedlock to the late Brenda S. Mitchell~Cheeseboro and to this union they reared three {3} children. “CURT” attended Horry County Public School systems where he graduated from Aynor High School. Upon graduation he pursued a career in the United States Army and left with an Honorable Discharge. After returning from the Army, he chose a different career path working with Goodson Construction Company. He was a dedicated employee for years. He also worked at Carolina Energy until his death. “CURT” was a dedicated and faithful member of St. Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church where he was reared in. He served faithfully as an Usher, Sunday School Teacher and a Trustee until God called him home. He also was a devoted member of the Masonic Lodge #54. He devoted much of his time helping others and spending time with family and friends. “CURT”leaves to cherish his loving memories three {3} loving children, Daniel {Renee} Mitchell of Myrtle Beach, SC, Deeanna Mitchell of Bronx, NY and Khadija Cheeseboro of the home; five {5} grandchildren, Kevin Jones, Kevianna Jones, Jahaiya Pickett, Hasiera Pickett all of Bronx, NY and Daniell Mitchell of Myrtle Beach, SC; one {1} great~ grandchild expected January 27, 2018; a loving stepfather, Marvin Jamison of the home; three {3} sisters, Tammie R. Cheeseboro, Yolonda Harris both of Manhattan, NY and Quanda Jamison of Aynor, SC; three {3} brothers, Myron Vereen, Maurice Vereen and Micah Vereen all of Myrtle Beach, SC; three {3} brothers~in~law, Charles E. Mitchell of Myrtle Beach, SC, Rev. Donnell {Constanza}White of Gaffany, SC and Bishop Dr. Jonathan W. Page, II of Myrtle Beach, SC; one {1} very special aunt that helped reared him, Martha Vereen and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM Friday, August 11, 2017 at Ocean View Funeral Homes Rhue’s Memorial Chapel Conway. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM  Saturday, August 12, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Aynor, SC. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Homes Rhue’s Chapel.
