MS. PATRICE BOWENS-FRIDAY, {56} “I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Ms. Patrice Bowens-Friday was born on November 1, 1961 in Conway, SC to the late Dorothy Bowens-Spivey and Jessie Morgan. She finished her race on Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Ms. Patrice Bowens-Friday was affectionately known as “Pat”, “Trish Ann” and “Rat”. She was educated in the Public Schools of Horry County graduating from Conway High School in 1979.  At a early age Pat accepted Christ as Her Lord and Savior and joined the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed with Carolina Grand Hotel.  

Ms. Patrice Bowens-Friday liked to bowl in her spare time; she also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends but got her greatest joy from spending time with her loving children Erika, Aaron and Andrelle and her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ms. Patrice Bowens-Friday was preceded in death by her parents; one {1} sister, Dorothy Grissett and a Godson, Philippe Williamson.

Ms. Patrice Bowens-Friday leaves to cherish loving memories her best friend, Aaron P. Friday, Sr.; her daughters, Erika Friday and Andrelle Johnson; her son, Aaron P. {Jennifer} Friday, Jr.; six {6} grandchildren, LeChemar Butler, Dereck Davis, Janiyah Friday, Jayden Friday, Damon Robinson, and Jayceon Jackson; one great-granddaughter, Shakiyah Butler; nine {9} sisters, Jessie Mae {Roosevelt} Singleton of Baltimore, MD, Diane Bowens of Fayetteville, NC, Shirley Days, Julie Miller, Sharon {Richard} Bellamy, Lorraine Lawrence, Renee {Gregory} Bass, Patricia {Leroy} Hunt all of Conway, SC, and  Margaret Ann Morgan of Charleston, SC; four brothers, Frankie {Pam} Bowens, Jesse Morgan, Allen {Deborah} White all of Conway, SC,  and Joe {Hilda} Morgan of Jacksonville, NC; two {2} special sister-in-laws, Diane Friday-Bromell and Linda Wright; a God sister, Vanessa Bromell and a Godbrother,  Thomas {Nell} Johnson, Sr; two {2} Goddaughters, Ody {Rico} Perez and Deronda {Brandon} Sanders; five Godsons, Douglas {Elizabeth} Clark, Stacy {Ericka} McCray, Deeon {Barbara} Bellamy, Timothy Parsons and Lemar Rutledge; three {3} aunts, Janie Mae {Spivey} Bellamy, Ruth Burgess, and Gladys Doctor; three {3} uncles, Henry Bowens, John Lee Bowens of Fayetteville, NC and Larry {Ellen} Brown of  Brooklyn, NY;  special friends, Jackie Cox, Faye Davis-Jones, Lynette Rose, Reverend Dr. Preston L. McKever-Floyd, Melvin Floyd and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. 

Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, August 09, 2018 at Ocean View Funeral Home Conway Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 10, 2018 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home Conway Chapel.
