MS. JANICE PARMLEY, {58} of Conway passed away September 1, 2019 at Conway Medical Center. The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the time to tell just when the hands will stop at the late or early hour. On September 1, 2019, our Heavenly Father saw the need to call one of His children home to be with him.

Janice was the daughter of the late Eugene W. Parmley and Ella Hill Parmley, was born December 13, 1960 in Conway, South Carolina. Janice attended the public schools of Horry County and played a little basketball for Conway High School. She later attended Horry Georgetown Tech and Miller-Motte Technical College studying Medical Billing and Coding. She enjoyed singing and dancing, braiding hair, shopping and her greatest love and pleasure was playing bingo. When Janice was able to move around, she and her daughter attended Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church where she was baptized.

Prior to her health issues, Janice worked in the Food Industry as a server/line cook for Quincy’s Restaurant and a factory worker for Krispy Kreme Donuts in Irvin, Texas. Later in life, for a short period of time before her health failed, she worked for Yellow Taxi Cab Services in Conway, South Carolina.

Janice was preceded in death by five (5) of her siblings.

Janice was family-oriented and leaves to cherish her memory, two {2} children, Mikkel Adonis {Shavonda} Parmley and Tina Rachelle Parmley; three {3} grandchildren, Jaylen, Titus and Suniya Parmley, whom she adored; two {2} sisters, Rebecca {Henry} Stanley of Conway, SC  and Dora L. {Tom} Hedger of Arlington, TX; four {4} brothers, Eugene Jr., of Conyers, GA, John Charles and George Parmley of Conway, SC and Horace Parmley of Los Angeles, CA and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, September 6, 2019 at Bethehem Missionary in the Sandridge Community.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.  The Ocean View Funeral Home Conway Chapel is assisting the Parmley Family.
