MRS. RECHELL “SHEREE” TERRY WINFREY, {50} formerly of Myrtle Beach, SC was the 7th child born to the late William N. Terry and Lucille McClellan. “Sheree” as she was known,was born on November 05, 1964 at Aviano AFB Italy and departed this life on March 30, 2015 in Virginia Beach, VA at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital after a brief illness. “Sheree” graduated from Myrtle Beach High School in 1983 where she was very active in the Civinettes/Civitans, color guard and band playing the clarinet. She attended USC at Coastal Carolina for two {2} years prior to joining the US Navy in 1986. Sheree proudly served her country in the US Navy for twenty {20} years. While stationed in Newport, RI in 1986, she met and later married the love of her life, Joseph Winfrey on August 27, 1988. From this union one {1} son was born, Joseph Winfrey II. Sheree leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Joseph of Virginia Beach, VA; her son, Joseph II {Rahjita} of Portsmouth, VA; step~daughter, Megan of Houston, TX; brother, William {Christina} Terry of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Willard {Tanya} Terry of South Bend, IN; sister, Margaret {Clarence} Armstrong of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Cecil Terry of Conway, SC; sister, Lisa {Leon} Lawrence of Hemingway, SC; sister, Roselyn {Douglas} Terry of Conway, SC; sister Nicholette {Bobby} Hemingway of Myrtle Beach, SC; God~Daughter, Allisha Hemingway of Myrtle Beach, SC; special niece, LaPamela {Jerry} Walker of Tylertown, MS; The Funky Four + One, Ursula Richelieu, Tabitha Busby, Yvette Alston and Carin Chestnut; special friends, Pamela Austin-Grissett and Tracey Alston; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family members. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 04, 2015 at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation Services LLC.

  • I am so sorry to hear of Rechell’s passing. I enjoyed working with her at BurgerBusters for two years. She was funny and quite a character. My sincerest condolences to her family and may God grant them peace and comfort in the days to come.

  • I never met her other than talking over the phone at Taco Bell. Always helpful and pleasant. My condolences. Family are in our thoughts and prayers. We will be thinking of you . God Bless you all.
