MRS. REBECCA DOZIER, {83} was born in Williamsburg County, SC on December 20th, 1934 to Mr. Willie and Mrs. Bertha Isaac and attended school in Williamsburg County, SC. She was one of eight {8} children raised in Lane, SC. But has since transitioned to her heavenly home on Thursday, November 1, 2018 while hospitalized at Conway Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Sammie Lee Dozier, her oldest daughter Sandra Hunter, two {2} sisters: Hermenia Vines and Bertha Keith, and four {4} brothers: Willie, Hillie, Lennie, and Alfred Isaac.

Mrs. Rebecca Dozier met and married her beloved husband, Sammie Lee Dozier at fourteen {14} years of age. After a few years into their marriage, they decided to move to Miami, FL to better their lives and their family. She worked as a Store Manager for twenty-five {25} years for the Shop for Children in the famous Fontainbleu Hotel in Miami Beach, FL before the shop’s closing. And after that, worked an additional fifteen {15} years at JCPenney in the Omni, FL as a Sales Floor Manager. She later retired and along with her husband they decided to move back to Georgetown, SC reinstating their memberships in their beloved Marion Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rebecca Dozier leaves to cherish her memories her sons: Wilbur and Cleophis Dozier; three {3} daughters: Patricia Dozier, Earnetta Ruffin {Jeremiah}, and Consuela Okeke {Obiozor}; one {1} brother, Moses Isaac; one {1} brother-in-law- Christopher Dozier Sr. {Deloris}; two{ 2} sisters-in-law, Bessie Dozier and Roseamae Pompey; a beloved son-in-law, Larry Hunter {husband to our beloved-belated sister Sandra Hunter}; twelve {12} grandchildren; seventeen {17} great-grand-children; three {3} great-great-grands, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loving, devoted friends.

Funeral Services will be held  at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Marion Baptist Church in Salters, SC. Visitation will be held one {1} hour prior to Funeral Services. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home of Conway Chapel.
