MR. WILLIAM STEWART, JR. {80} was born August 14, 1937 in Beaufort, SC. He attended Beaufort County Public Schools.

He then relocated and ventured life into Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Baltimore before returning back to South Carolina where he loved. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren as well as traveling and sharing his vast knowledge of historic mementos.

God called Mr. Bill home on Sunday, October oct 08, 2017. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Geneva Stewart; a daughter, Bernita Stewart and granddaughter, LaToya Stewart.

William “Bill” Stewart, Jr. leaves his precious memories to his daughters: Eloris Stewart, Shelvy Stewart, Karen Stewart and Donna Stewart; his sons: Joseph {Janice} Grant, Jerry {Clara} Murray, William Leroy Stewart, William Anthony Stewart and Wilfus {Tanya} “Kevin” Stewart; his stepdaughters: Willie Bell {Calvin} Rogers, Barbara Jean McCleod, Vivian Ann McCray, Ernestine McCleod, Jeanette {Earl} Moore, Mary McLeod and Shevonne McLeod; his stepsons: George McLeod, Jr. and Phillip McLeod; his first wife, Mrs. Lillian Stewart; his longtime companion, Edna Williams; a special granddaughter, LeTisha Stewart; his sister, Regina Trejo and brother, John Stewart; his aunt, Mary Green whose {105 years old} and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM Friday, October 20, 2017 at Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017 at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel.

  • I had the privilege of knowing Mr.Stewart ,and he was a wonderful ,thoughtful,and caring person and while you mourn his passing let the thought of the man he was fill your heart. Cast all your cares on him for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Our prayers will continue to be with his family and those of you that was apart of his life.
