MR. PRESTON BESSENT

MR. PRESTON BESSENT of Longs, passed away September 1, 2019 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Mt. Calvary #2 Missionary Baptist Church, 2625 SC-111, Little River, SC 29566.  The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the Ocean View Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. 

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalms 121:1-2

A Time to be born

Preston Antellio Bessent , son of Doris and Carol Bessent, Faye Maple and Windell Vereen was born on January 17, 1990 in Horry County, SC.  He is predeceased by his grandparents Lacy and Emma Claridy, and Charlie Lee Miller.

A Time to Live and Love

Preston attended Horry County Schools and graduated from NMB High School Class of 2008. He was employed at Amazing Blades Landscape. Preston accepted Christ as his personal Savior and joined Mt. Calvary #2 MB Church at an early age. Preston had a contiguous smile and a heart full of love for his family, friends, and sports.

A Time to Mourn

Preston leaves to cherish his memories his parents, one daughter, Malaysia Bellamy, grandparents, Corine Strickland, Willa Mae and OJ Jenerette, ten sisters, Tamika (Fred)

Bellamy, Chequita McCoy, Samone Bessent, LaCora (Robert) McCullough, Lafashia Miller, Mariah McCray, Nakisheanna McCray, Shendell Vereen, LeMonyca Frazier, and Iesha Cochran, six brothers, Quantrel Miller, Monrail Miller, Carlos Maple, Kwanzi (Teaira) Maple, Ja’Reizz Grate, and Domonique Vereen, two special aunts, Mary Miller and Natasha Brown, special friends, Helen Gibson, Andre Mack, and Tashara Bellamy, a special cousin, Kel Gore, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The Ocean View Funeral Home, Conway Chapel is serving the Bessent Family.
