MR. MATTHEW LEON MOORE

MR. MATTHEW LEON MOORE, {25} “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23: 1-3

Mr. Matthew Leon Moore, affectionally known as “Bubba” went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Matthew, the son of Mary Moore and Kenneth Gore, was born on March 02, 1993 in Conway, SC. He was a 2011 graduate of North Myrtle Beach High School. He was converted and joined Popular AME Church. Matthew loved to ride dirt bikes. He had a calm and loving spirit. It showed through all that knew him. Matthew will always live in the hearts and memory of those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mrs. Gertie Moore, Mrs. Emma Dena Stanley, and Mrs. Ora Mae Stevenson and his grandfather, Deacon Reo Stevenson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Mary Moore and Kenneth Gore; his girlfriend, Emani Collins; two {2} daughters, Layla Livingston and Ayla Bellamy;  four {4} sisters,  Shanika Moore of Longs, SC, Yolanda Gore of  Little River, SC, Heather McNeil of Carolina Forest, SC and Kendra Gore of Conway, SC;  one {1} brother, Keon Vereen of Seattle, WA; stepmother, Bonita Gore of Conway, SC; three {3} special nephews,  Lecoma Scott, Ah’mier Scott and Michael Livingston, Jr; eleven aunts,  Flossie Moore of the home, Virginia {George} Wilson of Little River, SC, Mamie Bellamy of Longs, SC, Debris Moore of Fayetteville, NC, Bertha {Paul} Vaught of the home, Sarah Stephens of Sunset Beach, NC, Priscilla Maye, Aquilla McQuire, Mae Esther Hemingway, Rose {Edward} Gause, and Sara Ann Gore, all of Little River, SC. five {5} uncles, Collins {Florencine} Moore, Tim {Sally} Moore, Terry {Allison} Vereen all of Longs, SC, Roger {Thera} Stevenson of Little River, SC and Edwin Steele of Conway, SC; four {4} great-aunts, Gerotha Livingston, Evelyn Vaught both of Longs, SC, Elma Lee Ellison of Little River, SC and Minnie Bell Brown of Timmonsville, SC; ten {10} special cousins, Lee Dorsey Moore, Chad Wilson, Roger Moore, Drell Livingston, Curvey Vereen, Tony Wilson, Lamar Vereen, Michael Livingston, Kelly Wilson and Paulette Evans; three {3} best friends, Trey Cox, Dezmon Stanley and Kennis Willard and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, September 21, 2018 at Popular AME Church. Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel.
