MR. GILES KENNETH {DICKIE}WALLACE, {77} passed away on Saturday, June 02, 2018 in Myrtle Beach, SC.  He was the husband of Sheila M. Wallace, his wife of thirty {30} years.  He was born on August 25, 1940, in Washington DC and he was a former resident of Damascus, MD.  

He was the son of the late William Dockery and the late Anna Wallace.  Kenneth was preceded in death by siblings, Gordon Bethea, Milton Wallace, Mildred Bethea and Dorothy Bryant.                    

He attended Pleasant Grove Christian Community Church in Damascus, MD for many years before moving to Myrtle Beach, SC in 2011 upon retiring from Congressional Oldsmobile car dealership in Rockville, MD after forty-five {45} years. After settling in Myrtle Beach, SC Kenneth joined Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal {AME} Church.

Kenneth enjoyed singing with the Wallace Singers, the Gospel Travelers, the Pleasant Grove Christian Community Church Male Chorus, the Versatiles, and the Mt. Zion AME Church Male Chorus until his heath failed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Darnetta Little of Lumberton, NC, Lisa {Gretchen} Wallace of Germantown, MD, Christy Wallace of Silver Spring, MD; , stepsons, Ricky Dorsey of Clarksburg, MD and Sean Dorsey of Myrtle Beach, SC. Kenneth is also survived by nine {9} grandchildren and seventeen {17} great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings include Anna Olden of New Castle, DE, Beverly Wallace of Capitol Heights, MD, Luther {Angela} Riggins of Fayetteville, NC, Bernice {James} Bittle of Wagram, NC,  Sally Riggins of Raeford, NC, Johnny Mae Riggins of Raeford, NC, Velma Riggins of Laurel Hill, NC, Wilma Riggins of Fayetteville, NC, Tammy {Ricardo} Robinson of Raeford, NC, William {Linda} Riggins of Raleigh, NC, Jimmy Lee {Hattie} Riggins of Wagram, NC and Eddie Riggins of Raeford, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and his long-time friend, Dave Weaver.

A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held 1:00 PM at Mt Olive AME Church on Saturday, June 09, 2018.  Visitation will be held one {1} hour prior at 12:00 noon at the Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel.
