  • I am very sad to hear of Garrey’s passing :( I had the pleasure of working with Garrey at Joe’s Crab Shack for 9+ years and I’m pretty sure he had a smile on his face for the entire 9 years. I will always remember him getting his famous chicken bog ready to take out to our famous parking lot parties after a long, hot summer night of work at Broadway. He worked so hard in the kitchen, putting up with us servers all night and still took the time to make the crew something special. Garrey was special. He will he greatly missed by all who knew him. Lorna, you and the rest of the family are in my thoughts every day.

  • Ever since I first worked with Garrey at Joe’s Crab Shack in 2000, the staff as a whole was crafted as a special family. Garrey has been that special brother you could never asked for because you were blessed to be a part of his life. His genuine compassion for a smile from his face or the sound of his gentle laughter will always be a lithograph in my heart. No one will ever take that from any one of us that had the privilege of knowing what a descent human he has been to all of us.
