MR. LANNEAU GRAVES {87} was born September 28, 1930 in Smithboro, South Carolina the third child born to the late Melvin and Alice Legette Graves.

He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of fifty-seven {57} years, Eleamor Graves, one {1} sister and two {2} brothers.

At an early age, he joined Everbee Baptist Church in Smithboro, South Carolina and attended Marion County Public Schools.

After school, he enlisted in the US Army and fought in the Korean War.

After returning from the war he married Eleamor Crawford and moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He joined Mount Olive A.M.E. Church serving faithfully on the Usher Board. He was also a faithful member of the local Masonic Lodge and Shriners until his health declined.

He was employed at Smithboro Furniture Company for many years prior to transferring to Thompson Furniture Company after moving to Myrtle Beach, SC. He also worked at Northside Pharmacy for many years until he retired. He also worked at Northside Pharmacy for many years until he retired.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories five {5} children: Patricia Washington of Myrtle Beach, SC, Betty {Johnny} Pernell of Mullins, SC, Weston {Linda} Graves of Martinez, GA, Lyndell Bellamy of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jennifer {Tony} Fairwell of Conway, SC; twelve {12} grandchildren, two {2} raised in the home: Chadwick Bellamy of Myrtle Beach, SC and Miquela Graves of Charleston, SC; seven {7} great grandchildren; two {2} sisters: Romelle Graves of Mullins, SC and Barbara {John} Butler of Hartford, CT; one {1} brother: Ernest Graves of Mullins, SC; five {5} sisters-in-law: Doris Brown of New Jersey, Marie Brantley of Philadelphia, PA, Ella Mae Horton of Wilmington, NC, Sherby {Willie} Eaddy of Wilmington, NC and Norma {Sammie} Burwick of Myrtle Beach, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, November 13, 2017 at Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Mt. Olive AME Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel.
